A little short notice, but I am going to be checking out Durhamtown tomorrow morning sometime if anyone is interested. Just going to spend the day out there. Should be an overnight trip coming up sometime this summer. It will be my first time there, so just trying to get an idea of what it's all about. Feel free to reply on here or PM me. Probably get up there before noon, driving from the Duluth area.

I've been wanting to go and check it out to see if it's more mud holes and bogging or if there are actually some good trails and obstacles to navigate. Probably going to the Truck and Jeep Fest though.

Def check it out and report back!

So, I briefly checked out Durhamtown today. Seems like a pretty cool place. The 4X4 trails were super wet so I didn't venture into them very far having stock suspension and tires, no cell service, and nobody else with me. But, as soon as I get my lift and new tires on I'd like to check out the trails. They have several areas, I started on Park 1 and it got a little too soupy and that clay slicks over the tires very quickly. But they have some rock climbing areas I'd also like to see, if anyone has a crawler to tag along in. I ended up stopping and checking out some "rally" racing and got some info on dirtbike rentals. Stupidly I didn't bring my dirtbike riding gear so ended up cruising around some local dirt roads on the way back. Here's some pictures of the area.

Yeah, I talked to a guy at the T&J fest earlier that said if it was dry out there for a week or so it had some pretty good trails. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind mud on the truck, I'd just rather have obstacles and rocks to climb as opposed to point the truck this way and give it hell through a mud hole!

From your pics though it looks like it'd definitely be a good time even a few days after some rain to at least get a little dirty!

How was the T&J fest? Didn't even know that was going on until you posted it.

It was alright. Not what I'd expected for sure. I figured it'd be a lot bigger. There were only around 20ish rigs. IMO the ones to see were outside from people in the area coming to it. Out of the 20 only three were Toyotas.

I'll probably go next year though FWIW unless I have something more important/fun going on.

Yeah, you do have to pay, can't remember what though as it's been quite a while since I was there last. Of course OP can help you out there.

It's about 2hrs from smack dab in the middle of downtown at the new falcons stadium where I'm sitting according to iPhone GPS.
