    It was an easy decision for me. I desperately needed to do something about the location of my intake since it was WIDE open in the wheel well. I didn't want to waste time and money designing something that would route it inside the engine compartment either because it has just never felt right to me to have your intake in there. I just don't like that idea.

    Plus it makes the truck look like and elephant, and elephants are cool!! :rolleyes:

    Well I got the airflow snorkel all mounted up with not much of a headache. Being specifically made for our trucks I expected the holes to line up a little better but it wasn't too bad. Loving it so far. I ended up using the pillar mount cause I didn't feel comfortable running it without one. This thing is rock solid!!

    So far no complaints. Haven't gone anywhere to need it yet tho. Absolutely no noise on the freeway, which really surprised me. Still haven't even gone through a half tank of gas with it yet.

    On a build note, I finally picked up a grinder today and trimmed my fenders up proper. Took off 1.75" all around.

    The fun part is going to be matching the flares up to it. I've got a "plastic welder" (don't know the technical term) at work so I'm going to try and mend the bottom lip back on after I cut off what is needed. Try to make it look as normal as possible. :notsure:
