Painting Rims black How?

i was wondering if there a thread or can anyone let me know what products and how to paint rims black?

Hey bro i was looking into the same thing with painting rims. Also painting them and touch ups. You should but done have to take the tires/rims off the truck. easier to prep, and the prep work is the most important. Take some steel wool or light sand paper. Just rough up the rims so paint will stick and the clean them off. crake cleaner or dawn dish soap. dawn will be the best because it removes all grease. Then primer you dont have to but you need to apply a lot of coats and let dry dor a while. just in a dry place. and re-apply a few times the more the better. and do some research for some tough paint. some will chip easy and some will act as a powdercoat. get some masking tape to tape off the tires and take your time. like i said the prep work is important. and grab a 6 pack and make a day of it maybe weekend job. they look great when they are done. send some before and after pics. if you clear coat you have to remember when they chip if they do and you touch up it will look off if you touch up and do not re-clear the rim. you should be fine with a few coats of black.
