I have a 1998 tacoma 2wd sr5 with the 2.4l. My air conditioning has a high pitched squeal sometimes. It's off and on. Sometimes it's not there sometimes it is. Any idea what this could be? Second questions is, does the 1998 tacoma 2wd sr5 have a changeable cabin filter in the dash that I can get to and replace? Thanks!

How much will that cost to get replaced?

Before you replace the compressor (expensive and hard), verify that it isn't the idler pulley bearing (cheap and easy).
