Glad to roll in and say hello to all as we continue the journey, Hope I can be of some help to some as I would also like to read some of the fixes that may help me keep my truck running over the bumps that we encounter. With 400k on the counter I'm going into new areas of wrench time. I was a copier tech for 20 years and ran my truck since 98' to every service call. It took a strain and I had the engine rebuilt 2 years ago. I did not like the reassembly after the rebuild but it ran good till now. This is my only working vehicle and I would rather do the wrenching myself if I can . I've used info from both written and video,classroom/lab,I have purchased tools and inherited many from my Dad,I have made some tools and accessories for my truck as needed. My truck is still in stock condition with no mods till now as I'm replacing the end link bushings and torsion bar bushing with polyurethane mods and the torsion bar bushing I may bevel the edges to give it some tolerance and maybe it will twist just enough to let the bolts drop into the lower control arm. If this works I will post the results, the repair will continue tomorrow when time permits. >>>>
