Has anyone changed the fuel filter location so it is easier to access? I have an 03, 2.7L and its place in the engine compartment makes it very difficult to change. It looks like it was intentionally put in a place where hands were not meant to be.

Thinking mod here: on the 2.7L 4 cyl 97 Taco, anyone ever try to divert the lines and relocate the filter? So much room on the passenger side of the engine compartment. If you used proper fuel lines and made sure the connections were safe and tight, any reason this could not work?
