    Good point. But with a 3" drop hitch, I'd be out plowing the desert! I used to have a 67 Bronco that did a lot better over steep breakovers. One advantage to a short wheelbase! Still getting used to the length and massive long hood of the Taco when off road - I keep having to get out and see what kind of dropoff is ahead cause I can't see it from the driver's seat.

    -1 on leaving in hitch. All your doing is taking away departure angle. It will put you in a bad situation if you wheel enough. Relocate the trailer plug in.

    I have been thinking about moving mine to the light hole but wonder if there is enough room for my 7 pin adapter to clear the trailer coupler.
