    Sup TW,

So I recently ordered an OME lift kit w/ 886's. I have yet to install my all pro apex front bumper (132 lbs). No plans on adding a winch. Supposedly 886's are for 200+lbs up front. Will I have enough weight up front for those beastly ass coils  Or will the suspension ride too stiff? I'm almost contemplating returning the 886's for some 885's, but I don't really want to deal with additional shipping costs and the wait time to get them shipped back to me. What do you guys think?

I ran 886s without any front weight, ride was kinda rough but not too bad.

Good to know. I do a lot of daily commuting into the city and I'm not really looking to smash my skull through the cab roof every time I hit a speed bump

I don't know how much lift you are wanting up front but my 885x springs gave me 2.5" with no weight. Dropped about a .25" with my 150# Apex. Ride is great. Something you need to think about, 886 coils with out a lot of weight will be getting you close to 3" May need UCA's if you don't already have them. Then again with just the bumper you may be fine. I bet the ride wouldn't be that bad though. I would put them on there and see what you got. Worst case buy a cheap winch to calm it down a bit. I would rather do that then send then back and wait on different springs. But again from experience, if you do decide to go with 885x coils and just a bumper you'll be fine.

I have 886's under my elite steel bumper with a warn m8000s and bamf bolt on sliders. It's a love hate thing. I love the way it handles on the road but it's def a little harsh over speed bumps and potholes. I haven't checked my measurements after several thousand mile to see how much it settled. At first I was 3.5" of lift! I'm an access cab btw.

Well... after an extremely drunken and hostile debate, my offroader friend convinced me to get a winch. So I guess I won't be needing to replace my stock UCA's.

So after my OME 2.5 inch lift gets installed, What do you guys think the largest tire size I can run will be? I've read through some forums and some people say they are rubbing w/ 33's on a 2.5" lift. Others are tellin me they have gone up to 35's with no issues. I really want to pick up some fatty new BFG all terrains before I take this baby out on some serious rock climbs. What you guys runnin?

Bare with the guys at All Pro. They will get it to you, and believe me their stuff is worth waiting for. My All Pro UCAs should be here this week and my 886 coils.
