    tire size and tcs

Hello.I just bought a 2014 Tacoma crew cab w/dealer installed 3" level and LT BFG 285/70R17 AT T/A Ko tires.I live on a twisty-turny lake road.I have had a zero point calibration done and am still having the tcs activate occasionally on some corners. The dealer says that it IS the tires AND that I must udjust my driving style.(slow down and every other B.S. excuse he could dream up)o.k...My question is -what has anyone that has experienced this problem done to remedy it?(w/o lift removal)-If I was to put on the same tire(LT not P rated) but in the stock 265/65R17 size, would that lessen the effects on my tcs system? Thanks.

I'm on your side, I've never been to a dealership I liked. They're all liars and shitbags because they'll lose their jobs if they cost the dealer money by actually admitting they need to do some free work for you.

That said: A lifted truck with bigboy tires on it will always drive differently than a non-lifted truck with factory tires... I don't know enough about what you're experiencing to say what it is, that would just be speculation on my part... but try slowing it down on that twisty turny lake road and see if your TCS activates less.

Yes the truck is going to drive differently but honestly I have the same tires and take both dirt and paved corners faster than I did on my stock tires and have TCS kick in less than when it was stock. realistically I think the best answer would be just slow down a little and see if it's just a little bit too much for the truck. If TCS is still acting up then i'd look into other options
