Nice product but the only problem is it only cools down to 38 degrees below the ambient temperature. This means if it's 90 degrees outside, the inside of the cooler is only going to get down to 52 degrees. I like my beer a lot colder than that.

I guess you could supplement it with ice but then that kind of defeats the purpose of having a powered cooler.

How about just getting a 120v powered mini fridge? :D

I have one and use it , it seems to work well , but as posted above only about a 40 degree delta temp , but it works if you keep shaded and I keep the re freezable blue ice thingys in with it and it will maintain below the 40 degree mark for a long time in warmer weather , I keep it in the cab and with the AC on and it is icy cold when I get to the camp spot, I picked mine up on craigslist for only $25 and it was like new

the coolers are nice but my Ironman 30 Liter fridge is worth every penny. Holds a 30 pack of cans, or ice cream, steaks and condiments.

I just have a Brute Outdoors cooler. No plugs, keeps ice for days. Even at 102 degrees in the back of the truck. They are super tough, roto-molded, and have lower price tag than yeti.
