Hi everyone, I am new here and was wondering if anyone in the Denver area has the equipment/space/technical knowledge to help me change out my stock struts for some Bilstein 5100s. I just really want to learn and be able to do it in the future on my own and all the shops I talk to can't have me too close because of insurance. I can pay for your time. I have mechanics knowledge to some degree, mainly from dirt bikes and a fast WRX, so I will not be a pain and I actually know the process in theory very well, I am just pretty new to trucks and this level of suspension so i would appreciate any help.

    Thanks,

    Mike

Never installed them, but I don't mind lending a hand. I have done different suspension set ups in my various projects throughout the years.

Oh, it's pretty basic, pull the shock/strut assembly off as a unit, compress spring, dismantle. I haven't done it on the taco yet, but on dozens of other vehicles. Get a good spring compressor or rent one at the flap.

I appreciate the offer. Do you have the tools/equipment/space available?
