    Hi.

I am planning on buying those 2'' wheel spacers

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/4pc-TOYOTA-TACOMA-6-Lug-Wheel-Adapter-Spacers-2-00-Inch-Free-Ship-/371110140890?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3ATacoma&vxp=mtr&hash=item5667e35bda

But I'm aware that my OEM wheels are 106mm while the spacers have a 108mm hub.

I found these : (108mm to 106mm rings) but I think they are inverted from what I need. (They are for 108mm wheels to 106mm hub and I need 106mm wheels to 108mm hub)

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hub-Centric...Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a902468f0&vxp=mtr

Do you think these will fit if I invert them? I don't even know if that's possible.

I know I can't install a 106mm wheel bore on a 108mm hub size because wheels won't be centered but it's the only choice I have if I want to go with 2''.

Also, I plan on buying aftermarket rims so I don't want to buy 106mm spacers.

I searched a bit but found nothing useful.

    Thank you :)

I think your own confusion has now confused me. I'll try and help though. Factory toyota hubs are 106mm. Factory Tacoma wheels are also 106mm center bore. If you were to get spacers, ensure they are 106 to 106. You would need those hub rings if you wanted to have the wheels hub centric and possibly prevent vibrations. For example, my wheels have a center bore of 108mm, therefore my hub rings go from 108 to 106 to fit my factory hubs. Another option is to find or order wheel spacers that go from 106 to 108 to fit your new wheels center bore. BORA can make you any thickness to any hub diameter. I hope that helps.

what you posted is totally confusing...the spacers you linked are for a Toyota, 106.1 bore and fit on the Toyota hubs perfectly...the wheels you have are 106.1 bore, you do not need any hub rings...how did you come to the conclusion you needed 108 to 106 hub rings?

did I say your post is confusing?..BTW, there is no way a 106 wheel will fit a 108 hub, but, a 108 wheel will fit a 106 hub, and a 108 to 106 hub ring is then needed to make it hubcentric...

Yeah sorry for that... Did it at work in a hurry.

The ebay link I wanted to send was a 2'' thick 108mm wheel spacer kit and I wanted to know if my 106mm wheels would fitt. (I updated it in my OP)

I asked that because I don't find any 106mm 2'' spacer kit and most aftermarket wheels are 108mm...

After thinking about it, I'll stick with the 1.5'' HubCentric made for the truck I have and probably buy aftermarket 108mm wheels with hub rings adapted to 106mm... I don't want any vibration problems or unusual wear on a brand new Tacoma...

If your goal is to run a 2" spacer with factory rims then a 106 to 106 is what you need. I'm sure you can search and find what you need somewhere online. If not, contact the guys at motorsport tech who also make the BORA spacers(www.motorsport-tech.com). And they can make the spacers for you. If down the line you get wheels with a center bore of 108 then hub rings would be advised but not required. They sell 108 to 106 rings on Amazon for about $12.

Wow! thank you for this. I'll take a look at the BORA ones!

If not, I'll take the 1.5'' 106mm and buy some rings if I buy aftermarket 108mm rims.

    Thanks again.

If your gonna buy aftermarket wheels then you wont need wheel spacers at all!
Choose an aftermarket wheel with the correct offset to get the correct stance you want. This way you erase the need for wheel spacers.

^^^^^^yup, what he said, it will save you some hard earned^^^^^^

The money saved can be out towards the wheel purchase....The Bora's will cost around $250 shipped in the 1.50" range...you would be better off putting that towards your new rims with the offset you want...more solid setup in the long run...

Yes. I'll stick with 1.5'' on stock wheel for now and look for aftermarket after next winter.

If not, I'll simply put bigger tires on OEM wheels and paint them... :)
