The wife wanted this, happy wife = happy life. Plus now that she has what she wanted i will be able to get a new toy in the spring (im thinking of a new fz1 or a 2000-2002 trans am))
It is a 09 is250 awd, sport package. It has everything except the levinson sound (pics coming in my next post).
My taco was a 05 with 140k miles, had steering and front suspension issues, electrical gremlins and the frame was getting a good amount of rust. The dealer gave me kbb rough trade in price for it.
After i get some pics i will have a sale thread with some bed cleats, trailer harness adapter and 265/75/17 mt's for cheap.

    Not enough...
I wanted an is300 for a looooong time. Then is250/is350 came out and I figured is250 would be my next car. Finally went to buy one and the guy at the dealer was a complete dick to me. I told him to fuck off, walked across the street and bought a 328i instead.

I hope there are not any dealers on this board, i have never came across a dealer that wasnt some type of douchebag or dick and i buy a car or motorcycle about every 2 years. The one i bought my taco from called me everyday for a week after i bought it asking me to go on some dealer rating website to give him "5 stars". The lexus had a bubble in the sidewall of a tire , after they denied it being a issue it took 20 minutes of going back and forth to get a new tire

The is250's have been known to have carbon buildup problems. The 350's dont but have a different issue. Good luck on the ride and it looks nice!

I read about the 350 issues and steered clear. We have averaged 27 mpg so far in it. Ill be ordering some snow tires in a month or so for it. Every time i get in it i find a new gadget to mess with. The first time the parking sensors went off i thought i broke something haha, the rear sunshade is cool too. Ive never had a car with push button start, every time i get out i reach for imaginary keys on the column.

Nice ride and props to make the wife happy.... I love its look.

We used to have a one in Matador Red Mica for my wife and loved it, NOT so much when you have 2 young kids in the back (especially with carseats) so we traded in for an RX350.

No need to put snows on it. The AWD is great in it. Just install a good set of all-seasons. I run Conti pure contacts, also went up to 235/45/17, (from 225's) ride is better. The carbon issue is 06 to 2010. TSB out for it. Had mine done. Carbon comes from dino oil/direct inject ( fuel doesn't wash valves) in those years. 2011 up don't have that problem, because they run synthetic from factory. Since TSB I run Mobil one and no problems.

I also had a Lexus IS250 AWD prior to my Tacoma. The lexus was a sweet ride, very fun to drive and handles like a go kart. Great car with all kinds of gadgets in it.

    Enjoy it!

$9700, between kbb and nada kbb was a lot lower. also the dealer already had 2 used 2nd gens on the lot so i dunno if that effected how much that gave me.
