Can I remove oil filter without draining oil V6 motor?

    Looks like I slightly over filled my oil after last oil change. Can I remove the oil filter without draining the oil? Im sure i will be fine but I dont want any messes lol....Thanks

    just pull the drain plug on the oil pan for a sec... no mess problem solved.

    Unless it is overfilled by a half quart or more leave it be as it wont care.
