I have googled it. I agree most people call it a long colt but it is really just .45 Colt.

Have you guys paid any attention to what OP says? All of his posts in this thread are on page 1 and 2, are ridiculous. Either he's trolling, or dumb enough he's finally swallowed his own head and that's why he's missing on the last 3 pages of this ridiculous thread

OP isnt familiar with handguns and wants to hunt bear with a handgun, has no tangible awareness of caliber size, ammo type, or anything that hints anything that he isn't completely over his head in this thread in regards to bear hunting, hunts with dogs but can't carry a rifle on his shoulder while the dogs do the work for him because it's too hard or he doesn't want to scratch up his rifle?

Not at all trying to be a dick, but there sure is a lot of bickering back and forth over shit that doesn't matter in the first place and OP shouldn't be near a handgun if this is the extent of his firearms capacity, and probably shouldn't be hunting either, especially something that can kill him and all of his dogs in minutes if he wanted, all the while OP is trying to use tapatalk to see if the PBA pellets he put in his Benjamin are good enough for a head shot

Never hunted bear. But, it seems that a pistol is the least efficient way to take a bear. Just to clear something up, he isn't looking for protection from a bear but something to actually kill the bear? Any pistol seems like the wrong tool to me. I mean, why not load a slingshot up with a 10mm rock.
