I am sitting at 3" lift int he rear and 2.75" in the front, i have some vibrations when accelerating at 5-10 mph and turning the corner. Do i need a CB bracket or why do people install them ?

    getting there....
They are installed for vibrations due to off angles in the dtiveshaft. You could try spacers.....go quarter inch at first and go from there.

They install them to rid vibes. I would try shims or 1/4" square washers first, I found that (2) 1/4" washers work best for my application.

    Edit: meant 1/4" not 1/2"

does the shaft rub on the CB bc of the angle and you would see the friction spot that caused the vibes

The shaft doesn't touch anything, it goes through the cb but you won't notice any wear until probably 10k miles later and even then it would be minimal.
