    Ok. Hypothetically would it have fit in the opening itself if you trimmed or cut out the lower little "grill" looking things? Like instead of it being completely behind the grill, have it sit sort of flush with the lower bumper valence?

    You could do that but I'm not exactly sure how you would have to make a bracket of some sort for it

    Fabing some brackets for it is no problem.. I just don't want to trim a whole lot of plastic off of the lower valence to make it fit, and then huge gaping holes in it in case I want to go back to stock.
