    Guys
I am attempting to install a 1.5" AAL on my 07 doublecab 4x4 and can't get the centering pin to fit into the centering hole on the Spring Perch. The Spring pack is tight and lined up fine with the new AAL and pin, but the Spring assembly won't align with the perch. The misaligned pin is forward of the hole by a 1/2" and outward by 1/2", and using a lot of muscle, the closest I can get it is 1/4" in both directions. I've spent most of the afternoon jacking the frame, the axle, using jackstands in different areas etc. NO JOY. I'm not a mechanic but have enough tools and the right type Jacks etc. to make this work, but I am stumped.
I'm new to the TW Forum and this is my first post. Glad I found y'all and look forward to your advice.

    Welcome to TW!

Keep jack stands on the frame, support the axel but only keep a little pressure up on the springs. Pull the axel into position, keeping clear of the truck incase it falls of the stands.

Grab a ratchet strap, wrap around the axel put the hooks in holes in the back of the frame, then racket the axel back the remaining amount. The inward movement of the spring is next, but make sure the spring is sitting on or close to the perch. You should be able to use your foot and body weight to push the spring into place.

    Edit: what they said ^
