New here. Just picked up a double cab trd and was wondering what's the best basic loft option for 3 inches all around. Would it be cheapest just to get the front leveling 2.5 or 3 inch kit? New to yotas so sorry if its a simple question.

You can lift your truck with block and spacers all around to get about 3 inch of lift for $200. However the ride is stiff and you will most likely not like it and it isn't the best off road. I would recommend you save up for a good suspension kit like the Old Man Emu kit from wheelers. Its around $1300 with shipping but in the long run i'm sure you will like it more.

Thanks for the info! I'm have a 09 gmc and just did the suspension on that. Just was looking for a cheap way to maybe get the front end up a little. I know they make spacers for the gm trucks. Wasn't sure how the yotas worked. Love the truck! Solid and dependable.

Welcome to TW & no apologies needed at least you asked in the right area of forum, the best basic lift for the money would be a quality Ad-A-Leaf (AAL) to your existing leafsprings & get the ride height adjustable Bilstein 5100's for the front & the extended length Bilstein 5125's for the rear, you could do all this for right around $500 & probably be very happy with it, do not go too cheap for a lift with blocks or spacers on the front this you will not like ...

none at this time, getting started.
I also have an 02 tacoma with a 4 cyl eng. My locate 4x4 guy suggested a 2.5" leveling kit from Pro Comp, but from what I am reading here it would not be best. Would you make the same suggestion for my taco? It is all stock at this point and I would like to lift it and put some aggressive tires and wheels on it.
