    Hi everyone,

I know I'm new here but have been browsing for awhile and have found a wealth of knowledge on this site and this is the first time I've felt compelled to ask a question I couldn't find a straight answer to.

I have a 2013 DCSB TRD Sport and am interested in putting a rear locker into it. I don't really want to do a whole axle swap and was wondering what my options were...

It's my understanding that if I want a selectable locker my only choice with the stock 8.4 axle is an ARB air locker.

Is that the case or is there something I'm missing. Also I would like to do as much of this myself as possible but am not that mechanically inclined. Is this feasible or should I just get a shop to do it.

    Thanks

If you buy an ABR it comes with instructions. I pondered about doing my front one myself after reading some it doesn't sound too hard. Boil the ring and freeze the locker and it's a tight fit
