I bought this LED light strip kit and am looking to install them inside the cab of my 96 tacoma, and maybe the bed eventually

I am not an electrician by any means and am looking for help on how to install these. any and all help will be much appreciated

If I strip the power cord, can I tap the wires from the power cord into either the gauge or signal fuse and have the lights turn on and off when I want? If so, how exactly would I go about doing that
