That's apparently a popular spot for switches. I thought I was being original.

I made my own, sorta. I bought a can of misc bungee chords. In the can were very short black bungies that would only really be good for holding an umbrella when folded down. So I cut the hooks off, fused and knotted the ends and then slipped them in the tabs. I ran one across bottom to bottom, one across top to top, and then two in an X shape. Not a net, but it works to keep pens and larger items within the little cubby space and was FREE.

Anyone ever tried taking the manual cup holders and placing them into the auto? I know you'd have to cut and epoxy or something.. But has anyone tried it?

I have 13 cup holders in my truck. That's a 12pack and a spit cup. I'm all set.

I don't think that they are even remotely similar. Honestly there is a lot of wasted space with that cup holder insert.

On the manual? I kind of like it. The little "can only" one holds change, the bigger two hold either two drinks or one drink and my wallet and cell phone. I do wish they just had flat bottoms though, there is a circular ridge apparently designed to help keep smaller cups from sliding around inthe larger hole, but that ridge is the wrong size for anything and big stuff just ends up sitting kind of lopsided.

Pretty much what I use mine for. My friend tells me all the time he is jealous of my cup holders.

Those lights look good Alan. I just finished wiring mine to the other switch this morning. One more switch to use, not sure for what yet.

I did the same thing but found orange flush mount wide-angle LEDs to match the factory dash & lighting. I also did the cubby right of the steering wheel that us automatic guys have. I think manual guys have a parking brake there.

I didn't bother going into the doors. Too much effort.

(I was off by $3 on price [my bad])

That seems like a pretty good price for the set, I did all those and it cost more than that.

I couldn't find orange out here, Red was my second choice... And you're right, That pocket is where my parking brake is.

The wires follow through the factory rubber thing with the rest of the wires into the under dash panel. Unless you're talking about the rear doors for the access cab which are at the bottom of the pocket closest to the outer edge facing up in the center.

I sourced mine from eBay. I'm planning an audio upgrade since I scored a really nice 5ch amp for cheap and when I go into the doors for wiring the new speakers I'll probably pull 12v ill wires for some LEDs too while I'm in there. I need to observe dome light behavior too. If it lights up upon unlocking and dims upon locking I will pull a wire in for that and do white LEDs inside the door handles too. Makes for a nice effect at night and if I'm already pulling wires I might as well. I don't think our trucks do that though. At least not the dimming part upon locking.

I wired some LEDs to constant power (battery/aux fuse panel) and used the dome ground so they went on with dome. They fade on and off just like the dome light does
