    My Cruise control stopped working. Any suggestions on how to fix?

    Same thing happen to mine, works from time to time though. I believe there is a connection issues with the wires that wind up and un wind when you turn your steering wheel since your cruise control turns with the wheel. Others said there should be a recall but toyota didn't have anything for me last time I checked.

    Double check that your brake lights are still working. My cruise on my old Tahoe stopped working. After doing a bunch of research and almost buying a new stalk, I came across checking the brake lights. Both lowers were out. Switched in new bulbs and cruise worked again.

    Not sure if it's some saftey thing and it may not be the same across all brands.

    New Navigation DVD/CD/TV/AV/Bluetooth Stereo and seat mod spacers, 1" hubcentric spacers, seat heaters....
    spiral cable/clock spring, prolly need a new one, happens both 1st and 2nd gen...

    it is a place to start...

    search spiral cable/clock spring for replacement instructions...

    have fun, be careful...
