I was wondering if anyone has or knows of a post were someone put their aftermarket USB cord and attached it to the blanks next to the oem aux jack, or even was able to retain that aux jack to work with their aftermarket radio

I've seen people use the blanks, they used hot glue to hold it in place then caked it with epoxy to keep it nice and sturdy. All you need is a dremel but not sure if there is a write up on it.

That's what I did for both the Aux and USB. The USB doesn't look quite as pretty as it could, but it works and is solid enough so it won't fall apart.
