Here's what mine looks like at 113k. Noisy as hell but I'm half deaf so I couldn't hear it until now. Tear down was easy enough but I still can't get the needle bearing out. I made a puller out of a piece of 1/8" thick 1095 steel but it folded in half without budging the bearing. Tomorrow I'll pick up a piece of 3/8" steel and try again. If that doesn't work, I'll order the ECGS puller like I probably should've to begin with. (But didn't 'cause I'm cheap)

Yea definitely need the bushing. I was able to make my own puller as many others have. You might've not been on the needle bearing when yours bent. Tough to get it just right

I do have the ECGS bushing and a new oil seal on hand. I just have to get the bearing out...

Zero lift. Suspension is OEM and tires are 265/70/16 on factory wheels.

The second puller was made from a piece of 5/16" ish steel and worked like a charm!

All back together and test driven - much quieter and no leaks. Doesn't get better than that.

Just had my front right cv replaced at 65,000 miles. I noticed my lower arm was covered in grease the other day. Took it to Toyota because my truck is still under warrenty and they told me that the boot kit was only $30 cheaper then the whole assembly. Was going to have them do both sides, but they only had one in stock.
