    Thinking about running 2-Rockford Fosgate R2SD4-10" shallow subs with a Boss Audio CE1004 amplifier. I can get these all for under $200. Does anyone have any suggestions or better products to use?

    My suggestion would be to use better products. And the better products would be anything other than what you suggested.

    Honestly man, stereo equipment should never be purchased as a bargain basement thing. Spend the money, you'll be glad you did in the long run.

    Your setup will work. Don't expect it to shake the pictures off your wall in your house but it will have a nice thump.

    Audio is just about budget. I would look into a better amp, but the RF subs are a good bang for the buck. You can check out the RF amps, Alpine, which are good bang for the buck products as well. Keep the subs, get a good box, find a better amp, get good wiring, you'll be in the right boat soon enough.

    @TurdTaco13

    If you are going to say use better products why don't you list any for him? Telling someone their stereo choice is crap but not giving any info to what is better is just a waste of time.

    And I'm sure the 8 posts a day you've averaged for the last 3 years have all been helpful and insightful. No time wasted there. No siree. :rolleyes:

    Just incase you are new to the internet, there are more sections in TW outside of the audio section. A lot of those sections are just for talking and killing time, so my post count has nothing to do with helping people.

    Actually I'm very helpful when it comes to audio, I spend time on the phone talking to people I've never meet, and I do tons of installs (typically for free). I can't even tell you how many people I've talked to from TW on getting their stereo's up and running or upgrading them. Typically I take a call about once a week from a TW member about a stereo problem.

    Your post was an insult to someone who is trying to learn, then you give out no info at all on what is better. Either you have no clue what you are talking about and can't reference better products, or you are just a dick. I'm going with a little column A, a little column B with you.
