First off let me say that I don't use the Pandora service through our 4300. As such just providing info off of unit abilities etc. The 4300 is a great unit, but does not have any data plan/ internet connection/wifi antenna. So you would then need to provide that service using some external device. Could be your phone or other mobile internet service. Issue is going to be what is the cheapest for the data used.

On the phone side, I would think you would be streaming Pandora through your phone's internet connection. Any downloading using a non-WIFI connection is going to count towards your gb data usage. With that being the issue, the only way I know of not to have the data come off your phone's data plan would be to only use it when you can connect your phone to a WIFI source such as sitting at Starbucks etc.

I'm sure others will chime in to confirm. As I said, don't use it myself.

Alternatively, you could do a Sirius/xm. As far as I remember you would need to add a module for it and then subscribe or you could do as I did on the Camry and get the portable dock unit. That way one subscription and you could move the Sirius/XM unit into the house to use etc. I hooked it up to the Pioneer to play the unit through a radio channel. Just what worked for me in my particular situation with other things I was running. Worked great. Just found I was listening to my ipod more so got rid of the subscription.

If I remember right, last advert they sent me they were doing 6 months for $25 or some such. Anyway, just a thought if you were looking at subscribing to Pandora.
