Not everyone is lucky enough to have a judge on retainer.
Was he taken to jail at the time of the traffic stop?
I was under the impression that tripple digit speed is enough for the cuffs.

Do 50km/h over the speed limit in Ontario, and you get your vehicle Impounded, $10,000 fine, and are charged criminaly with street racing, resulting in a jail setence, or something along those lines!

I HATE cops..pure and simple. They harass good citizens when there are gang bangers and drug dealers running free. I have a story too long to go type out that involved my wife and it ended up costing us 7k for an attorney for a ticket that my wife was never actually given.

i think alot of people have issues with cops, i sure as hell do. its a good concept gone really bad. i was driving on rattlesnack were my house is off of and they have speed traps on that road all the time because of construction. well since a construction site there is a thousand white trucks around, my taco happens to be white, well a construction guy in front of was speeding i look behind me and theres a cop follwing me with his lights on so i pulled over, got a 125 dollar ticker for 10 over. i tried to explain to him that there was a mishap told me just to goto court, sucks but im just going to pay the ticket and goto traffic school.

If you don't do anything that can get you a ticket, you wont get a ticket. And if cop is inclined to act like an ass and give you a ticket, take it to court.

Its easy for all of you to say you hate cops while your sitting safely behind a computer. But when something bad happens to you or your family, who do you always call for help?

The thing is, cops seem to hate kids. Since I've hit my late 30's I've only gotten warnings for things that I got tickets for when i was 20. Of course since I've gotten the Tacoma last fall I don't even speed - it's just no fun compared to a sports car.

It's not their job...it has always been the "I am God" attitude.
