2014 TRD Sport Driver seat pivot loose

hey all, did my long research threw the forum and figured id make my own thread because i couldnt find a similar issue.

my 2014 trd sport dclb driver seat is loose, the back rest moves forward and backward about an inch maybe less. passenger seat is SOLID. my 07 access cab that i traded in for the 14 didnt have any play. will be going to the dealer soon to see about getting a resolution. hopefully no one else has this problem! will update as things come along

 

If you move it to a different position forward or back does it seem to lock in fully?

 

its loose in just about every position.....

 

Time to pop in to your local dealership and have them inspect and advise on a potential warranty issue...

 

That's that plan! I actually just took a look at my girls 2013 rav4 and it has the same amount of play..... Do I just ignore it?

 

So just an update for anyone who cared, I've checked 3 other tacomas one being a 2013 and they all had the same play so I'm just going to leave it be
