Stock speakers in my 2010 and it's absolutely horrible. Would like to upgrade and get It a lot clearer. Not really concerned with subs since I don't care about bass and never listen to rap. Any suggestions on new speakers or a new deck? Thanks

    New HU > replacing speakers.

The stock HU is total crap. A new HU will help out big time and give you more control of the output. Then later if you want to upgrade you can just slap speakers in.

As for which HU that's all dependent on how much you want to spend. I suggest to stick with Pioneer, Kenwood, Alpine as they seem to have the most features and good output.

I would disagree, aftermarket hu usually put out about 25 to 50 watts per speaker. Factory speakers are about 5 watts.
Basically your factory speakers would max out before your hu. Then with a factory hu and aftermarket speakers. Your speakers will max out when your hu maxes out.

Best bet is to get a aftermarket speakers and a small 4 channel amp. Nothing fancy or expensive. Just enough to push the speakers. Both ofthose would ccost less than 300 for both. That's cheaper than most aftermarket hu out there

he will need a LOC as well to hook up amps, power wires, RCA's, fuse.

$100 HU sounds better than stock HU IMO.

That didn't help. Pretend you're explaining a corvette engine to an Amish farmer.
