Oxidation?

Basic 2wd RC 5 speed

My 09 truck has 55k miles. It has what appears to be oxidation on all of the aluminum parts of the outside of the engine.

It is like a lot of white spots on the aluminum. Is there a way to safely and easily remove the oxidation? The motor is the 2.7liter 4 cylinder.
