anyone got a v8 transplant in a Taco

    I would like to hear from anyone who has successfully put a V8 in their Taco. I think it would be just awesome to have a beast like that. If you have, what were the biggest challenges you had to overcome?

    IMO i feel like your gonna have someone that has put a smaller diesel in before they put a V8 in the taco. But idk for sure :notsure:

    Lowes Slimline Tool box, OEM Bug shield.
    You guys can keep your oil burner, there isn't much I wouldn't do for a factory TRD-Pro in that orange or white with the 4.7 from the 4th gen 4R from the factory. Probably would get better mileage than the 4.0L hooked up to a Tacoma and with part-time 4WD, as opposed to the 4Runners full time AWD.

    meh, i would bet that there are more and higher miled turbo'd vehichle on the road than v8's. we are talking about a toyota motor here, if its bullet proof its prolly turbo proof
