It appears my 99 Tacoma 4x4 2.7L DLX does not have a glove box light or an ash tray light. I never saw a light in either one since owning it. Is there lights in either of these tucked away and hard to see? I don't see lights at all.

Mine didn't have one either. There was an empty hole in the 'roof' where one would have gone, if the truck came with the lighting package.

A few years ago, I got one at a pick/pull yard out of a Celica (or Camry maybe, not sure) and installed it. I think my truck was pre-wired for it.
