As title says, I'm looking to straight up trade my 2014 Toyota Nav head unit for your 2012/2013 Toyota Nav head unit

No there's nothing wrong with mine, it is 100% mint condition.

Looking to trade you this HU: a9ae4e6a7e46fe0cfe6b8c502a30817a_ea9a7b94e74aedd2fab42e018147a8a951929014.jpg

So I can have this HU: 0b79fb34c9ce43b226d25a2ab116f065_4e1f2f7bb3af17e29355b094ded8aaf707a4ec66.jpg

I'm not sure if the older JBL units are compatible with the 2014.

    Double check that, eh...

    ;)

Is your head unit JBL compatible?

My truck is actually 2013, so I should be covered there, I think?...

    Story is....

I sold my 2013 non-navi to buy the 2014 navi, but prefer the 2013 look. The 2014 works 100% in my truck so I'm assuming the 2013 navi would too?

I'd have to check into if my 2014 HU is JBL compatible tho

So turns out my truck (2013) is only plug n play with 3 radios... The one it came with (stock touchscreen, non-nav, non-jbl), the 2014 basic touch, or the 2014 touchscreen with nav, non-jbl.

2013 tacoma came with either basic touchscreen or nav/jbl all in one.
2014 tacoma comes with basic touch, or basic with nav, or nav/jbl.

So to make the 2013 nav/jbl work I'd need to get the amp and all that jazz or track down the schematics and run some wires so the nav/jbl HU can get power. Not beyond my capabilities, but a project I don't have time for at this time.

So looks like I'll just have to put up with how the 2014 radio looks, and even though the nav system in these radios isn't very user friendly it's still a decent feature to have.
