I will be installing fog/spot/spread lights on my Tacoma soon and decided to try and make a wiring diagram before doing it. So that it would be easier.
So what do you guys think ?

Don't forget your in-line fuses! Looks like you have double throw switches and you want to run them one way when the high beams are on and the other way when the parking lights are on?

Yeah. I didn't bother to put the fuses on, I figured that was a no brainer. I just wanted it to be easier at the switches and relays..

The switches are single throw, but lower name lights up when the park lights are on. Then have another led that lights up when they are turned on.

Oh, I see what you're doing. I wasn't sure what switches you were wiring them up to. I did something similar using double throw switches.

if I remember correctly you take the amp draw of the lights and fuse them to that then use american wire gauge at a few steps higher...you use OHMS law to figure out fuzing and wire guage.also they make some nice sealed relays that are way better than some others and I always like to solder my connections rather than but connectors and shame on you if you use scotch locks you will hate your self when it rains.

Well my lights show up next week. My light switches showed up this week. So I trimmed up the holes. Moved the two lower buttons and relocated them next to the factory fog light switch. Having the wiring diagram I drew up made it much easier !

I like your plan - did you have much trouble when you "re-sorted" the Toyota controls to get yours all in a row? Enough lead wire behind there or tight?

Did you get some sockets to mount the relays? Makes things easier in the future when one goes zip. I've found the Bosch type empty sockets on pigtails - and as a clip together bank that screws down to a flat base.

Also learned to search out the automotive rated wire. "Per SAE J1128 / 125ºC/257ºF rated / Types TXL or GXL". I believe that's the typical "underhood" stuff.

My wire is rated for 300 degrees, And as far as the relocation of the buttons. I cut the bottom inside of where they go in out as it is not visible. And give more room to get in there. There is more than enough room to move the switches up.

Nice diagram and everything, but do you only want your foglights to turn on with your brights? In my experience you want fogs on while high beams are off in really bad fog. Otherwise looks great!

Actually made a change to where I can turn them on or off, not dependent of headlights.
That way I can turn them all on or just the fogs on when I want them. Or any combination of them.

Nice, I think I'm going to do the same. Where did you tap the power from?

I tapped into the accessory coming off of the ignition.
That way if I turn the truck off and forget to switch the light switches off.
    The lights will go out.
