Hey guys I know what you all are thinking: "c'mon man your rotors are warped, why'd you make a new thread??"

Well it seems more complicated then that.

First the problem: my truck shakes when braking from right around 40mph or faster.

What I tried to do to remedy it:
Replaced my front brake pads and rotors

This seemed to make it a bit better, but I noticed something while I was doing the passenger side; the P.O. Must have put both the same side pads on when he last did the job --the engine side has a tab that... Shouldn't fit on the outside-- well when the last owner forced that pad in there it just cut a grove in the cylindrical part of the old rotor that goes around the lug nuts, it also pushed hard enough on the caliper to rub the sliding bars (not sure what they're called, but the two bars the pads slide on) on the caliper to a point where they can kind of wobble around in their mount holes.

So my question is I ran out of time to mess with it and went and drove it around after I just did the pads and rotors and it still shakes, would it be a safe bet that I just need to replace that front caliper (or maybe I could get away with JB welding the holes to get rid of the wobble)?

Would such a wobble brake anything else, should I be looking at replacing any other parts while I'm in there?
