So I ripped off my rear driver side mud flap when I was up in Maine a few weeks back. Just got the replacement in the mail and hosed the mud out of the wheel well and figured I'd just pop the new flap on with some new bolts. Except one bolt is sheared off and I have no idea how to get it out. Any ideas? Its recessed below the rear quarter panel so drilling a slot and unscrewing it doesn't seem doable. Can I tap a new hole?

PS- where can I get these stupid plastic tabs that hold the flap to the quarter panel?

Buy replacement push pins from an autoparts store. Dealer is too expensive for such a simple piece.

Weathertech floor liners moded to hold OEM floor mats, weathertech vent visors, Toyota bed mat, LEER 100XL cap, hood gasket mod to stop whistling.
Easy out or Sears sells kit that you use a drill with. You run your drill backwards, the bit drills, bites, and extracts.

Plastic clips... I get them at NAPA. Belkamp makes little bags with all different types of those. Buy extra, it won't be the last flap you rip off.

Just push the bolt in and it will fall behind and just drop out from a drain hole. I know it sound stupid but the exact same thing happened to me.

Step 1 - Spray broken bolt with PB Blaster or another penetrating oil.

Step 2 - Using a Center Punch, make a mark on the bolt if possible to keep your drill bit from "walking" off the broken bolt and into your sheet metal.

Step 3 - Carefully/Slowly drill into the center of the broken bolt with a LEFT-hand drill bit. Many times, the left-hand bit will bite into the broken bolt and extract on its own.

Step 4 - If the LEFT-hand drill bit does not extract the broken bolt, try using the easy-out.
