Oh yeah I see those look way better than mine. Wonder if the picture quality is better too. Maybe I'll get some trd ones of those. Think I like those better than just the Toyota symbol seeing as I love trd stuff.
And no, you shouldn't have anything to worry about in the door. There's a shot ton of room down there. And I bet that hole saw bit isn't even the exact size either being from China. Probly be loose as fuck. Idk what ima do for that either. Maybe a dremel and slowly etch it out. Let me know what you get at hardware store..
And are you talking about moisture in the light itself or the door? Door is no biggie. It's already got drain holes in it. As for the light, you could probably use some butyl rubber, or some rubber tape, maybe wrap it with a plastic bag and tape it down surrounding the light after install. My light also has a small o-ring around the flange to seal it from water getting up, but again that's not a concern since the door has drain holes and is expected to get moisture in there. I will probly just tape a sandwich zip lock bag over it and call it good.
Idk, these will be so easy to replace once that hole is drilled anyways that I'm not even gonna worry about it. Since they're so cheap. If and when they go out I'll try sealing them better somehow.
Actually I just thought of something else, what is the diameter of your light for the hole to be drilled out? Mine's probly not the same either so I would have to drill a second hole if I had to replace and got your style after.

hole size on mine says 024mm. which works out to about 11".

i'll prob add some silicone as suggested...i was just worried about moisture in the door. i'm surprised it does not include a rubber gasket of some kind. and i'll def get that upholstery tool from sears. i'll take the light with me when selecting a hole saw...to be sure i get the correct diameter.
