    Hey guys,

So I bought new tires (duratrac, same size as stock) as I need the M+S designation and in general not shit tires.

I did not buy it at the dealer, as the dealer wanted $339.00 a tire, and I got them for $190 each, and $50 less for installation.

When they were installed, the installers mentioned that they check alignment and my alignment was off, and recommended that due to the age to take it to the dealer to get it fixed, so I feel they weren't just trying to get me to get an erroneous thing done.

I'm about to go for my first service, and just prepping myself, are they going to say that installing the tires elsewhere that the warranty won't cover it? They also said that they will charge a diagnostic fee if it turns out it is not a warranty issue. Of all my driving, virtually all of it has been highway or high grade. No big bumps or accidents. Probably out of alignment since the day it was purchased, but not enough KM to show it on the tires.

I'm in Canada, if that changes things...

Its under warranty and changing out the tires does not affect your alignment in any way. It should be covered no questions asked if its brand new and out of spec
