I'm new on here but have looked to the best of my current experience with forums and haven't found an answer to my issue. And before you respond, yes I have checked the battery, it's putting out a steady 12 volts. And no the truck is not in gear. lol

That being said, here is what is occurring. I went out to start my truck. I had driven it this morning with no issues. When I turned the key over, there was one click and then nothing. Obviously, the battery was my first thought. So, I charged it. 2 minutes later it was showing fully charged. I put the batter back in. Tried to start. Nothing. Interior lights work, the clock works, but when I turn the key to ACC, the clock dims and when I try to start it, the clock dies and nothing happens, no clicking, nothing. Also, my locking system is acting different. The door locks work door sometimes, and sometimes they don't. When I press the buttons on the keyless remote, there is no longer a dual-beep for "unlock". I sort of cuts out. I've checked all the fuses, they are all fine. The relays seem fine. Other than hook up a diagnostic tool to get a code, I've done all I can. Just curious if anyone can help before I call the dealership to come get it. $$$ Thanks ahead of time.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
No clue but I wonder if new batteries in the keyless remote would make a difference.

Thank you, but I don't believe that's the issue, the other keyless set makes it do the same thing. Just one beep each (unlock/lock). And the only door that locks/unlocks is the driver. Appreciate the thought though.

    Just a few LEDs...
Try this. Turn your headlights on. See if they are actually on. Try to start the engine. Check to see if the headlights are still on.

By turning your headlights on, you are putting a descent load on your battery. If the headlights do not light up or are dim, then the problem is your battery. The battery may have a "surface charge" of 12V but it may be bad (shorted/weak cells) and may lack the current capacity to start the truck or carry a load. Charging it may not do any good.

Let us know what you find out.

How about checking the solenoid on your starter? If it isn't your solenoid or starter, it may be your ignition switch.

Thanks for all of the reply's everyone! I'm an idiot apparently, I checked the volts of the battery but not the amperage. I just read a few forums that had was leading me another direction. All fixed now, forums are the greatest thing next to YouTube for troubleshooting. Thanks guys.

Turn the key so the dash lights come on, leave it for 60 seconds, then try it. You probably sucked the tank and lines bone dry, this will re-prime it.

If not, pray you didn't lose the fuel pump.

    Good luck!
