I've almost completed my retrofit for my 2002 tacoma. However i'm having one issue in thinking how to wire my halos. I would like the halos to come on when the engine is turned on, not when you flip on the parking lights. How would you go about wiring that? Is there a way to keep the parking lights on all the time without flipping to it so I can just splice into that? Any pictures/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The XBs do not draw much power at all, you can run a power line from your #20 Accessories fuse in the interior fuse box. Install a 2W inline fuse that you can access from the engine bay. Waytek has some really good inline fuse housings. If interested, I can look up some part numbers for you and take some pictures tomorrow.

On my 4Runner, I have the XBs powered by the parking light feed wires, this way I can turn them off if I want to.

Thanks for your help, you're right. I'm starting to think that wiring into the parking lights would be a lot easier and would be better. Is it pretty straight forward? Ill post pics when im done. Thanks!

I'd still run the inline fuse for each tho. With my first set of XBs the little power transformer blew and kept blowing the parking light fuses. TRS replaced the transformers at no cost, since then I added the inline fuses.
