Just bought some dee zee nerf barfs for my 2014 tacoma while I was installing them I noticed that the bolts screw into the body of the truck, not the frame. Just wondering if anyone has had trouble with stability or bending of the body.

All tacoma steps bolt up to the body and not the frame. The steps should only be used as a step, and not sliders or people carrier
