I just purchased a set of Vleds switchbacks and it came with the 3157 CK adapters as you mentioned. If you look at the stock bulb it has 4 metal prongs(2 on each side of the bulb) and the adapter only has 3 metal prongs. When you install the adapter, I'm guess you install the side with one metal prong on the ground side?

It should look like this. The bulb adapter can easily be placed in backwards causing blown fuses. I just installed mine and one was backwards blowing the fuse.

On the stock plug there is only two wires, the blue and the white. In the pic it looks like there's another blue going to the spot on the left but its just the angle.

Any long term/follow-up reviews on these DRLs? Also, do the resistor boxes run really hot? Kind of worried about this with limited space to mount. Contemplating a future purchase.

I installed these 2 weeks ago and they are by far the best switchback DRL's out there. You get what you pay for. Look for a coupon code or wait until they go on sale. There last sale was Labor Day.

Appreciate all the advice guys. Judging by the installation instructions, it doesn't seem like too difficult of a job with the mounting. Did sign up for newsletter but will probably wait a few more weeks to see if any Xmas deals/coupons are offered.

Can anyone with the V3's tell me if they require the optional inline resistors? Thanks

The Acme bulbs we have in closeouts are just as bright as V3 Tritons for 25% of the price. Mod the flasher relay and no resistors needed!

I'm not looking to mod anything. I only want plug and play. I've had many Jeeps and other vehicles through the years that I have done "mods" to. But, looking to keep this strictly bolt and go. I also am fine with spending the extra for what seems to be a more complete package with V3's. I found my answer on their site anyway, because they have a tacoma kit. Thanks

Does anyone have a write up, or a how to on the flasher relay. Would really be interested in doing this!

    Found it, never mind.
