So I have a 95 tacoma and ever since I got it, its had an issue with staying running after its started. As soon as I start it, I have to idle up for about 20-30 seconds before it will run on its own. Any suggestions? I cleaned the MAF, new air filter, tried adjusting idle screw, im lost on what it could be. Ive been told to change out the IAC, try new throttle position sensor, and try a new fuel filter. I dont wanna go buying new parts for ten different possible solutions haha

It's less Tacoma and more mod
I'd clean the throttle body and if that doesn't help it may be worth changing the fuel filter as well (should be done anyway if it never has been). Otherwise it is probably the IAC. Do you know whether the fuel pump is any good?

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Could be Coolant Temp Sensor, cam or crankshaft sensor.

With the truck idling tap the MAF sensor lightly with the handle of a screwdriver; if the idle fluctuates the MAF is bad.

Look for burned wiring especially around the EGR valve.
