2013 tacoma mirror blinker

    flow master with exhaust tip, 3 inch rough country suspension lift
    anybody ever removed the actual blinker and changed the bulb color? ive gotten the light/lense off and unless the whole thing is the bulb im not sure how to get the bulb out

    look on a toyota parts site; you'll find that the bulb is integrated into the lens, and i expect it's a LED bulb. The whole part is about 65.00.
    You might be able to take it apart and change the LED, but why? Amber is likely the only spec for road use.

    Just a few LEDs...
    I have taken them apart. There are 3 LEDs on the board. You might be able to remove the LEDs and replace them with another color but you might also have to change the surface mount resistors that limit the current depending on what color LED you use.

    I made a modification to have these come on with the parking lights.
