2012 seat skins on a 2006? Will they fit??

Hey everyone,

I have a 2006 Tacoma TRD Sport and my driver side seat cover is a little worn out and I'm looking to get new ones. I found a set on eBay but they're off of a 2012. I've read a post that said that the 2012's wont fit due to the addition of the side seat air bag. Is that the case? I would imagine that there may be a little extra room on the sides or maybe the fabric may be designed to tear easier when the air bag deploys..... Maybe adding some foam behind the seat cover may solve the issue if there's additional space...

The overall shape looks spot on! Any input would be great. Thanks in advance.
