I posted a thread and realized I never introduced myself.

I'm Brian, and I just bought my first Tacoma. It's a 2014 SR5 V6 manual AC. I bought a house last year and my poor Impreza 5 door just wasn't cutting it with all the things that go along with owning a house. I hated to give it up, but it was time.

I'm a Manufacturing Engineer with a BS in Electrical/Mechanical Engieering Tech. I am/was also a machinist for several years before going to school. I have experience running CNC lathes and milling machines as well as a manual Bridgeport and lathe. I can weld when I need to (mig/tig), but unfortunately I do not have a welder of my own.

I'm loving the truck so far and I have already added some stuff to it.
Huskyliner x-act contour front mats - Freakin awesome!
Pop-n-lock electric tailgate lock - pain in the ass to put in, but really nice.
center console and glove box organizers
    Fluid film undercoating
Cable on the way to get rid of the nannies
    *Edit
Forgot to add the URD short throw shifter. Best $110 I've spent so far.

Thanks guys. I've found lots of good info on here already.

I just did the drivers side jump seat and console delete today. I've gotta pick up some material to make a bench back there for the pup. He had a rough time getting comfortable last weekend heading up to NY to see my parents.

Nice! Any good places around here to try out my 4WD? Nothing too crazy, but I'd like to actually use it at least a few times.
