I'm planning on putting in a 1000 W pure sine inverter. I have the tow package alternator.
I'll be running small power tools a Dremel, drill some camping stuff etc. nothing to serious

Which dual purpose deep cycle battery should I get I'd prefer to just have one battery for starting and deep cycle duties. Is it possible to get a dual purpose starting and deep cycle battery that just fits in my 2014 DCSB V6 battery tray without modification.

Thanks any advice or thoughts on the inverter/battery combo would be greatly appreciated

I have a Diehard Platinum that I'm happy with. I don't tax it too much though, just some lights and high powered CB equipment. A little pricey, try to get one when they go on sale. I did a lot of research before I bought it. It seems these get some of the best reviews.

I would recommend a deep cycle battery that has enough performance (Cold Cranking Amps) to start your engine in the coldest weather you anticipate.

Group 31s are available in dual purpose and will fit the tray, you'd have to modify the hold-down and cables some to fit though, not sure if you're willing to do that. The tray stays unmolested.
