Recently released! Anyone grabbed one of these yet? I'm thinking of getting the X20 10k Syn. Has built in wireless and their warranty is badass. Only hesitant b/c I'm not quite sure if it will fit into the my ARB bumper.

Did you get it? I just bought a x20 10k. Hoping it fits in my elite bumper.

I have this winch and really like it. I've only had to use it once so far to pull myself out  but I heard they're great so I bought one. Can't beat the price for the warranty it has and it comes with synthetic line :) I hear Smittybilt is excellent if you need to warranty or replace anything. It seems Summit stocks all replacement parts too, which is nice!

I wanna know about the X20 ones....and how reliable and "waterproof" they really are.

So I was unsure about the X2O and ordered the XRC 9.5 instead, the description said it is also waterproof but doesnt have the cordless remote. For $160 cheaper thats fine with me.

Would also like a review of the X2O. These winches are built of the standard bolt pattern and should fit most all bumpers.

I'm about to buy an X2O like this so I can save some money over a Warn. Most of the stuff I've read online looks positive.

IP rating has to do with how waterproof the item is. IP68>IP67.

    This IP68 is the best.

These are the few winches I have narrowed it down to after a week or so of researching (I am just trying to decide if I want to go the Smittybilt route or not since I have heard horror stories too) I just want to hear more reviews from people who have owned and actually put the X20 to the test.

wow interesting, glad you pointed that out. What winch did you end up with? I just got an email back from superwinch cause I asked if they were IP rated and they said if I needed to get an IP rated winch I should look into their Talon series winches ($1,000+) and those are IP67 rated.

I am really having a hard time trying to figure out if I want to get a Tiger Shark superwinch and just relocate the solenoid (just because the superwinch is know for quality for years)
    Or
go with the X20 Smitty....decisions decisions.
in reality the Smitty has more features for the $$$ but the superwinch has better quality from what I have read at least.

I have the exact one I posted a link of. Gen 2 XRC. Personally not into the whole wireless thing. I'd rather run a winch panel into the cab and not worry about wireless doo-dads failing.

None for me yet, still in the research phase as well.

Understood, the new x20 has the ability for wired and wireless.

yeah I will run a switch into the cab and use a wired remote for any winch I decide on. I could careless about the wireless. I am more interested in IP68 rating on the X20s vs the I67 rating on the XRCs that is the biggest factor to me.
