Ok so I have 07 prerunner long bed. I am gonna do a 3 in lift with 2in on the back. I am either going to get 265/75/17s or 285/75/17, with the 285s I will how big of a wheel spacer will I need? Also, I dont do offroading, just hunting. I'm just confused on rubbing, I don't want to trim anything more than the mud flaps, is this possible? Everything is stock except the lift, tires, and spacers I'm going to put on.

Go with 265/70/17 if you don't want to trim more than mud flaps. Otherwise 285/70/17 will rub with or without spacers. It all depends on your alignment/wheel backspacing. The spacers just move the wheel out more thus changing where the tire rubs.

    Soon to come

I like em I was considering those wheel for a while except I was planning on s filling in the "hummer" on the center cap

And op with the rubbing it all depends on which wheels you use and alignment to determine if you need spacers

I hear ya. It's what distinguishes my truck from everything else really. I get compliments about em all the time. They're the tactical edition, love the black gloss to it. I got them for a really good deal 5 wheels with current tires on them for about $500 in Houston off of craigslist.

Ok sorry sorry. Don't mean to thread jack haha

You should be fine. Hell h3 wheel backspacing is pretty bad opposed to your stock wheels, with spacers you probably wouldn't even rub. Go for it.

I know that with my front lift (1.75") and with spidertrax spacers (1.25") I am about 1/4" to 1/2" from rubbing and I didn't trim at all.

^That's with 265/75-16 tires, though, which can fit a stock truck without trimming.

@zackelly3, with 285/75-17 you need minimum 1" thick wheel spacers to clear the control arm and/or frame, though 1.25" thick spacers are more popular. Examples:
    https://www.motorsport-tech.com/special/truck/toyota_s
285/75-17 is a 33" tire. Moderate to significant trimming of fender flare plastic will be required depending on whether you stick to the OEM upper control arms or go aftermarket.

Yes but unless you go a true 3 inches in the front you will rub. I know Beavis on here has 285's with a 1.25" spacer and 3 inch lift, I believe he had to trim a little.

^Yes, after ripping off the fender flares, you should not rub with 315s
